Before launching the successor of previous year’s budget king smartphone IN 1b, it is looking like Micromax is trying to polish the old device via software update.
Just 3 days before the launch event Micromax had started rolling out a software update for Micromax IN 1b (). The update comprises of July Security patch and some minor bug fixes()
What makes this update important? Well! When other competitors are ditching updates for budget devices, with this update Micromax had cleared its intention towards Android updates too. For many months users are demanding Android 11 update on IN devices, which was earlier scheduled in May. So we expect that Micromax will soon start rolling the awaited Android 11 update.
